Is this a map you created, or RMR? I ask because I’m working on an identical issue with RMR – I think it is resolution related, but I’m not certain of that.

its a map i created. i have never had the issue with any of the other maps i created so im not sure what the issue is.

This is just off the top of my head and not tested in any way, but my first thought would be that the resolution is off on the plowLevel.grle. Lime level is ok, but not the plow. Does this happen on all fields, or just this one? Actually, I should have asked … is this 2km or bigger?

its a 2km map its only on one field so far all of the other fields i have plowed worked properly.

Weird, so now I’m thinking the issue is with the field itself. If I ever have an issue with one particular field, one thing I try is to erase the field, and by that I mean erase it from fieldDimensions infoLayer or delete the “blue squares.” Then I re-create the fields with that one missing, save the map, and then draw the field back in and repeat the process of re-creating the fields and saving. This is not a guarantee, but I have had some success with this method in the past.

The only other thing that comes to mind is that perhaps there is something wrong the density map “fruits” itself.

i have several fields that wont plow and a few that wont plant using a planter or seeder but if you plant the field with the easydev tool it will plant but will not show up as being planted on the pda.

Now we’re back to infoLayer resolution, LOL! The PDA relies on it, and so does the visible plow state. Have a look in your map.xml and find the file path for “fieldground.xml” – verify where it’s pointing to (probably $data). There are several png listed in that file that I think are causing your issue. Track them down (they can be found in the base game if they are not in your data folder) and host them locally. Change all the file paths to point toward your local copy. Check the resolution on them and try adjusting them one step up. ie. 2048 -> 4096.

when looking at the fields the field dimensions are all at zero instead of where the field is. does that make a difference? when cutting down trees in a specific spot it brings up field info where there is no field. i am using the additional field info mod. i am also cutting grass that i planted on the map in the editor which is creating an outline of where i have mowed would that be why its showing field info where i have mowed versus where i havent?

there’s an issue with the lime when i plow a field without spreading lime first the texture is correct for plow but if i spread lime then plow it leaves big splotches of lime texture. the lime lvl grle is 4096×4096. im probably just going to scrap the whole map and start over as frustrating as it is im not sure what else to do as i have tried everything.

It’s definitely a resolution issue, but it may not be with the lime level, it’s with what is covering the lime which in this case would be the plow effect. I could be wrong here, it will take some testing of course. Resolution issues come down to a lot of trial and error. To this day I still either forget, or get confused about which infoLayers are associated with each effect. Change the resolution on one and then test … you’ll know rather quickly if you got the right one or not 🙂

how do you convert the png into a grle? neither one shows in the i3d.
